Cardiovascular illnesses (coronary artery bypass and replacement of heart valves), cancer, spinal tumour and intracranial neurosurgery, living donor organ transplant and neurodegenerative diseases.

Neurodegenerative diseases
Confirmation of neurodegenerative diseases (ELA, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's), €30,000 per insured person and year. Confirmation of diagnosis in internationally renowned centres, in the case of a clinical diagnosis in Spain, of ELA, Alzheimer's or Parkinson's.

Reimbursement of prescription drug costs in Spain as a continuation of the treatment initiated abroad or in the country where the treatment was carried out for 30 days following the hospital discharge.

Exclusion periods
Term during which severe illnesses and medical procedures included in the guarantees of the policy are not covered.
DKV MundiCare® includes an exclusion period of six months counting from the effective date of the policy for each of the insured persons included in it.
Previous conditions
A previous condition is a health condition, alteration or organic disorder that existed before the time of the insurance was taken out or of the insured person's inclusion in the policy, or during the first six months of its exclusion period.
Any ongoing pathological processes prior to the date of inclusion of the insured person or that appear during the exclusion period of six months from taking out the insurance are excluded from the cover and will not be borne by the policy.

Any insurance policy must start with a commitment
Terms and conditions of the contract
The age limit for taking out the insurance is 67 years. The insurance will terminate at the age of 75 and/or when the limit of €2,000,000 has been reached.
All expenses related to severe illnesses covered (including travel, meals, accommodation, etc.), with a maximum of €1,000,000 per person per year, and with a total policy limit of €2,000,000.
