What are Terms and Conditions?​

The Terms and Conditions, also called the "general terms and conditions" and/or the "specific terms and conditions", is a contract that groups together the rights and obligations of DKV Seguros and those of the insured person or the person that takes out the insurance policy.​

What modalities of DKV Famedic are there? ​

DKV Famedic Plus and DKV Famedic Profesional​

What health benefits do I have with DKV Famedic Plus and Profesional?​

DKV Famedic Plus insured persons enjoy the following healthcare benefits:​

  • Primary care consultations: general medicine, nursing services and paediatrics.​

  • Specialist consultations: gynaecology (includes annual gynaecological check-up with smear teat), ophthalmology, dermatology and traumatology.​

  • Telemedicine services: access by scheduled video call to online consultations for general medicine, paediatrics, gynaecology, ophthalmology and traumatology These telemedicine services will be available in the associated "Plus" medical centres, which are detailed in the "DKV Famedic Salud y Bienestar Network of Services", even if they are not in your province.​

  • (Only in DKV Famedic Profesional): 20 physiotherapy sessions per year for the policyholder, prescribed by a traumatologist.​

Are there any benefits if I want to visit any other specialist or undergo a complementary medical test? ​

Yes. You can access any medical consultation or test with a major discount by purchasing vouchers for the DKV Famedic Salud y Bienestar Network of Services at www.dkvfamedic.com

Do I need to fill in a health declaration to take out DKV Famedic Plus/Profesional? ​

No, it is not necessary.​

How can I obtain the DKV Famedic Plus/Professional digital card? ​

Download the "DKV Quiero cuidarme Más" app or "DKV Activa" app, which are available at App Store or Google Play.​

Can I visit any doctor? ​

No. Only those listed in the "DKV Famedic Salud y Bienestar Network of Services", who can be found on the website dkvfamedic.com​

Can I go to the doctor the day after I take out the DKV Famedic Plus/Profesional policy? ​

Your cover will become effective as soon as the first premium has been paid and you receive the policy. ​

Are there waiting periods before accessing any of the health services? ​

No.​

Are pre-existing illnesses or injuries covered? ​

This policy covers pre-existing illnesses or injuries. There is no health declaration.​

Request a voucher

Request policy duplicate

If you need a duplicate of your insurance contract, you can request it through the Activa App or your customer area. You can also request it through our WhatsApp +34960160883

Information about bills

If you need to check the amount of your bills or to carry out any related procedure, such as requesting the payment of a pending bill, you can do so through the digital channels: Activa App or through your customer area. Modification of personal details

If you need to change your personal details (full name, postal address, telephone number, email, etc.) or change your bill's payment period or bank account number, you can request it through the DKV Activa App or your customer area. You can also request it via our WhatsApp +34960160883 or by calling 900 814 393

Request the cancellation

Any policyholder who wishes to request the cancellation of the policy must do so in writing at least one month before the policy's maturity. Health insurance policies expire at the end of the calendar year, i.e. 31 December; other policies expire one year from the date the contract becomes effective.

To cancel the policy in writing, you must include the policyholder's National ID or Tax ID, the policy number and the policyholder's signature in a request sent to the branches by post or at the email bajas@dkvseguros.es. You can also do so by visiting your nearest branch or calling our customer service line 976 506 000 - 900 810 072 during opening hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.

File a claim or complaint

Each complaint is an opportunity to improve the quality of service offered to the customer, which is a priority for us. Therefore, with an aim to protect and ensure our customers' rights, we endeavour to respond in the most efficient and timely way possibly, aiming to ensure that the process does not take any longer than what is strictly necessary. Therefore, we commit to responding within a maximum of two months from its initial presentation.
