The Dentisalud Classic dental insurance includes all dental specialities to ensure you keep your mouth, teeth and gums healthy.

We offer 57 treatments, at no additional cost, to treat dental problems and provide preventative dental care to keep your mouth healthy.

    General dentistry, orthodontic dentistry, surgical dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, implants, radiology, dental diagnosis and dental emergencies.

  • Cover for serious dental accidents

    If it affects more than three teeth, we will reimburse you for the treatment costs (maximum €6,000)

  • Preventive dentistry

    Gel or fluoride applications, mouth cleaning, sealing and oral health education.

  • Cosmetic dentistry

    Discounts of up to 30% in teeth whitening and ceramic veneers.

Can I go to any clinic and dentist I want? 

You will have more than 2,710 professionals and over 1,460 affiliated dental clinics across Spain. In addition, you have access to 23 own centres. With the DKV Health Spaces, you will find the highest standards of dental care close to you, with spacious, welcoming and state-of-the-art clinics and services.

Is there a limit to the use of dental treatments? 

No. We have removed the limits for treatments, and you will never need to take any kind of authorisation with you. 

Can I start using the dental insurance immediately?

Yes. No waiting periods, no pre-existing conditions, no health declaration and no age-based differences. You can start to use the insurance immediately! 

Dental insurance without copayment. Does DKV Dentisalud include copayment? 

Our dental insurance has no copayments. By taking it out, you will have access to several treatments for free and to others with significant discounts.

Can I take out the dental insurance policy online? 

Fast and simple! Take out DKV Dentisalud 100% online through our website, it will only take 5 minutes:

  3. Confirm your details: check that all your details are correct. 

  4. Make the payment.

Is dental insurance deductible? 

No, as an individual, you cannot deduct your dental insurance. Only companies, self-employed workers and employees who have a collective dental insurance taken out by their company can do so. 

Are fillings free? 

In the DKV Dentisalud Élite modality, amalgam or composite fillings (with or without pulp capping) are free of charge for children under 15 years of age after a waiting period of 3 months. 

Does DKV have dental insurance with reimbursement? 

Yes, DKV has a reimbursement dental insurance policy specifically for companies and groups of over 20 people that provides access to any non-affiliated centre or specialist.  

How do I take out the dental insurance?

At any of our branches, Espacios de Salud DKV, sales offices, DKV network of agents, our website or by filling out this form with your details so we can call you. 

When will I be able to use my dental insurance? 

Your cover will become effective as soon as the first premium has been paid and you receive the policy and card. 

How does the dental insurance work? 

DKV Seguros will directly pay the dentist for the services provided in your visits, and you will have to directly pay for dental treatments or services that are not free of charge. See all our excess amounts here

Does the dental insurance cover implants?

Yes. DKV dental insurance provides you the possibility of receiving an implantology treatment with guaranteed quality, including free tests and treatments and others at special prices. In the case of paid services, the insured person has to directly pay the chosen professional the established amount (excess), which will vary according to the dental service and the modality taken out. Does it cover orthodontics? 

Yes. DKV dental insurance provides you the possibility of receiving an orthodontic treatment with guaranteed quality, including free tests and treatments and others at special prices. In the case of paid services, the insured person has to directly pay the established amount (excess), which will vary according to the dental service and the modality taken out. Does the dental insurance offer the Invisalign treatment?  

Yes, your orthodontist will assess whether it is the most suitable treatment based on the diagnosis. 

If I am wearing orthodontics, can I follow the treatment?

Yes, your chosen orthodontist will conduct an assessment and diagnosis to continue with the orthodontic treatment. 

Does the dental insurance cover endodontics? 

Yes, DKV dental insurance provides you the possibility of receiving an endodontic treatment with guaranteed quality, including free tests and treatments and others at special prices. In the case of paid services, the insured person has to directly pay the established amount (excess), which will vary according to the dental service and the modality taken out.
