Cutting-edge medical diagnostic technology
FibroScan for metabolic liver disease: A non-invasive test that enables the precise assessment of the degree of fibrosis and fat accumulation in the liver, facilitating the diagnosis and monitoring of chronic liver diseases.
What is it for?
To assess liver health without invasive procedures and to monitor patients with metabolic liver disease and other chronic liver conditions.
*Up to one test per insured person per year, provided it is clinically indicated. Requires prior authorisation.
Biomarker test for pre-eclampsia: A specialised test to assess the risk of pre-eclampsia in pregnancies where there is clinical suspicion from the 20th week of gestation onwards, using a blood test.
What is it for?
To support clinical decision-making in cases of suspected gestational hypertension and to improve the management and monitoring of high-risk pregnancies.
*Requires prior authorisation and must be prescribed and requested by an obstetrician. It is not covered as part of population-based screening, as a predictive test in asymptomatic women, or as a routine check-up without clinical indication.
Hospitalisation and surgery
Extended intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring: Intraoperative monitoring now includes new indications for surgical procedures where there is a risk of cranial nerve injury, including parotid gland surgery to preserve the facial nerve.
What is it for?
To monitor nerve function in real time during surgery and to help the surgeon preserve critical nerve structures.
*Requires prior authorisation.
Prevention
Early detection programme for lung cancer: Aimed at people at high risk of developing lung cancer, based on specialist assessment, individualised risk analysis and screening using low-dose computed tomography.
What is it for?
To identify potential signs of lung cancer at an early stage and provide follow-up care for high-risk groups.
*Requires prior assessment by a specialist, fulfilment of the medical criteria established for high-risk patients, and prior authorisation.

Employment support for people with disabilities: An advisory service provided by Integralia to support and guide people of working age with a recognised disability towards employment.
What is it for?
To facilitate access to employment for people with recognised disabilities by providing guidance, support and specialist assistance throughout the job-seeking and induction process.
