Here is the new cover included in your health insurance
State-of-the-art treatments in diagnostic means and therapeutic provisions
Cutting-edge medical diagnostic technology
Magnetic resonance cholangiography (MRC) Advanced imaging test to study the bile ducts and pancreas.

It allows stones to be detected and lesions or tumours to be ruled out without the need for surgery.

It is being extended to patients who have not had a cholecystectomy, enabling the early diagnosis of gastrointestinal conditions.
*Requires medical report and authorisation. Waiting period: 6 months.
Computed tomography angiography Advanced imaging technique to view the condition of arteries and veins.

It allows the detection of vascular diseases (narrowing, malformations, aneurysms) in a precise and non-invasive manner.

It also allows existing vascular prostheses to be monitored.
*Requires medical report and authorisation. Waiting period: 6 months.
Therapeutic provisions
Lymphatic drainage after oncology procedure. Physiotherapy technique to reduce swelling or lymphoedema after cancer surgery involving lymph node removal.

It helps release accumulated fluid (lymph), relieve swelling (lymphoedema) and improve well-being during recovery.
*Up to 20 sessions per year with a medical prescription.
Psychology for neurodevelopmental disorders. Psychotherapy sessions for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
*Requires medical report and authorisation. Waiting period: 6 months.
Hospitalisation and surgery
Multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging-guided prostate biopsy (mpMRI). Advanced technique for detecting occult prostate cancer.

It is performed when the PSA (blood marker) is elevated for more than 3 months.

Or if the MRI identifies a suspicious lesion that indicates moderate or high suspicion of cancer.
*Requires medical report and authorisation. Waiting period: 6 months.
Fusion-image guided prostate transperineal biopsy. Technique for the early detection of occult prostate cancer, combining MRI and real-time ultrasound.

It is performed when the PSA remains elevated for more than 3 months.

Or if the MRI shows a suspicious lesion that indicates moderate or high suspicion of cancer.
*Requires medical report and authorisation. Waiting period: 6 months.
Other cover
Information and guidance on dependency and disability. Advice on regulations depending on your Autonomous Community. Procedures, assistance, and assessments for dependency or disability.
Increased reimbursement limit for psychology. In the DKV Mundisalud Classic and Élite policies, up to €75 is reimbursed per psychology session (previously €40)
Processing of the disability and dependency certificate. If you meet the requirements, the insurance company will manage the entire process of collecting documents, submitting the application, and following up on any potential claims.
