Cover and services
The DKV Mundisalud health insurance allows you freedom to choose the specialist or medical centre you wish to visit, anywhere in the world, regardless of whether they are part of our medical directory.
You will have access to over 51,000 doctors and 1,000 affiliated centres within the DKV medical directory in Spain with full cover, and you will be able to choose freely the centre or doctor with a reimbursement of 80% or 90% of the service's expenses.

Direct access to all the specialists and centres worldwide
Both in Spain and abroad, you can go to any medical centre, whether it is part of the DKV medical directory or not, and we will reimburse between 80% and 90% of your total expenses

Primary care and specialists
Direct access to all specialities: general practice, paediatrics, nursing, ambulances, all medical specialities (cardiology, dermatology, traumatology gynaecology...) and diagnostic and therapeutic means: ultrasounds, magnetic resonances, CAT scans, radiotherapy, lithotripsy, etc.

Surgery and hospitalisation
Cancer treatments, PET/EMR in oncology, kidney treatments among others, surgery, hospitalisation (ICU and pregnancy-related included), prostheses and much more! In addition, you will have your own room so that you are comfortable, with an extra bed for your companion.

We will reimburse 50%* of the cost of medicines prescribed by your doctor, with a limit of €100 per customer per year. *At DKV Mundisalud Premium, the reimbursement is 70% in pharmacy expenses.

Reimbursement for vaccinations
Rotavirus, HPV rescue, B-Bexsero meningitis..., we reimburse up to €50 per vaccine with a total limit of €150 per customer per year.

Waiting periods
All provisions can be used from day one, except for:

Hospitalisation and surgical procedures (including prostheses): 6 months

Biomechanical gait analysis: 6 months

Childbirth (except for premature births): 8 months

Reimbursement limits and modalities
There is no expense limit if you use the DKV medical directory; in all other cases, the limits depend on the modality contracted.

DKV Mundisalud Plus: overall limit of 160,000 euros.

DKV Mundisalud Classic: overall limit of 237,000 euros.

* DKV Mundisalud features an 80% reimbursement of expenses in Spain and 90% abroad, except for the DKV Mundisalud Élite and DKV Mundisalud Premium modalities, which feature a 90% reimbursement in both Spain and abroad.
