We are going to plant a million trees
At DKV, we want to have a positive impact on the planet and contribute to restoring biodiversity by planting a million trees before 2030.
Environmental protection is one of the aspects of DKV's sustainability programme, which is part of the company's own strategy and has been materialised as the company's environmental and energy policy.
In spite of the insurance sector's activity not having a high environmental impact, DKV's management in its commitment towards continuous improvement, pollution prevention and the fight against climate change, has defined this policy as a key element of its management system, with the fulfilment of the following principles as its main premise:
1. Cumplir con la legislación medioambiental y energética.
2. Prevenir la contaminación a través de medidas de protección del medioambiente.
3. Incorporar un modelo de gestión orientado a minimizar los impactos ambientales.
4. Colaborar en proyectos de mejora ambiental y energética.
5. Implantar esta política como referente para establecer programas de gestión ambiental y energética.
6. Sensibilizar a los empleados.
7. Difundir esta política medioambiental y energética entre todos los grupos de interés (clientes, proveedores, colaboradores, etc...)
8. Promover la investigación sobre el impacto del medioambiente sobre salud.
