What does life risk insurance cover?

A life insurance always covers the risk of the policyholder passing away. It is the main cover. But, other additional cover can be taken out.

It is very common to include compensation cover for a possible disability (total and permanent disability), with the same capital established for the main cover.

You can also take out additional compensation for accidents, in case they cause death or disability, or for severe illnesses (cancer, heart attack, blindness, etc.).
