This initiative intends to show DKV's commitment and strengthen an egalitarian and diverse leadership, as well as encourage more women to take up leadership positions.

We are starting a new month, full of claims in defence of equality and respect for women. And with this in mind, we would like to inform you of some of the actions we are proud of and continuing to work on to build a better society for all.

The "Women in Leadership" project aims to draw attention to all the great professionals who are currently holding these positions and to show their experiences, so they can inspire people in a world that pursues equal opportunities. For this initiative, called Women in Leadership, 60 professionals have been selected from the Group's subsidiaries worldwide, among of which stands out Pilar Madre, Quality Manager and one of the DKV's most experienced managers with outstanding leading qualities, an example of commitment, work and consistency.

Meanwhile, DKV has launched a campaign that aims to draw attention to all the great professionals who are currently holding these positions and to show their experiences, so they can inspire people in a world that pursues equal opportunities for men and women. At present, 60.61% of DKV's workforce are women and 60.68% of new hires have been women, a situation that favours women's leadership.

The company has also implemented gender mentoring and support programmes, through which women managers or women who have a high degree of responsibility due to their role/position mentor young women with potential, with the aim of enabling their professional development and access to managerial positions.

The insurer has adhered to the Diversity Charter and is an EFR company, which recognises family-responsible companies. It involves a management model aimed at guaranteeing continuous improvement in work-life balance, equality and diversity.

It is also part of the #RedEWI initiative, launched by INESE, a network of women leaders in the insurance sector. This project, which includes insurers, mediators, consultancy firms and law firms, seeks to promote equality in the workplace and to make more women become part of company's oversight and leadership bodies.

DKV supports gender diversity through its Equality Plan, which includes a wide range of measures through talent programmes, the promotion of women for managerial positions, work-life balance, training and development. In addition, the company has also committed to increasing the number of women in underrepresented areas, as is the case in the management of branch offices in Madrid, Seville and Cádiz.

DKV has been working on and instilling flexibility, family-responsible actions and equal opportunities for years, with the aim of taking one step further and working, implementing and integrating the concept of diversity into its culture. And it is something in which we continue to invest a great effort.

There are already many women with talent, inspiration and success in these positions, and we want them to be an example for many more.
