Belén Rodríguez

With a Master's Degree in Art from the Academy of Fine Arts of Vienna and the UCM, Belén Rodriguez has participated in Artist Residency Programmes such as Flora ars + natura in Bogota, ArtistaXArtista in Havana, Hooper Projects in Los Angeles, Academia de España in Rome and BMUKK in Tokyo.

She has held solo exhibitions at Josh Lilley, London; Patio Herreriano, Valladolid; Das weisse haus, Vienna; and Galería Parra y Romero, Madrid, among others. And, she has participated in exhibitions at institutions, such as CA2M, Tabacalera, Matadero and La Casa Encendida in Madrid, and Can Felipa in Barcelona.

She was received the Staatstipendium and STARTstipendium Grant from the Ministry of Culture of Austria, the First Prize of the Ciutat de Palma Antoni Gelabert, Caja Madrid Generations Award in 2011 and an Honourable Mention in 2009. Her work can be seen at the upcoming Biennale Internationale d'Art Contemporain d'Anglet, France, La Littorale.
