A lo caos
Between art and disability
This multidisciplinary proposal is framed within the fifth edition of the 10 Sentidos Festival. An exhibition titled A LO CAOS at Centro Cultural Bancaja in Valencia, the festival's epicentre and promoter of this unique project together with DKV Seguros, Fundación DKV Integralia and La Casa de Carlota.
The A LO CAOS exhibition gathers the result of a series of workshops delivered by La Casa de Carlota's staff, who are artists linked to the DKV Collection and people with different abilities, as well as a selection of art and graphic work by La Casa de Carlota. The second part of this project is carried out at Plaza del Ayuntamiento in Valencia. Directed by artists part of the DKV Collection, the public is invited to participate in a large mural painting.
A LO CAOS is an experience that converges art and disability. All the institutions involved conceive art and culture as one more element in their work towards the social and labour integration of people with different abilities, a line of action aimed at inclusion.
La Casa de Carlota is a professional design studio with an exceptional creative team: it is made up of people with Down syndrome and autism, who work together and on par with young students from top design and art schools, illustrators and art directors.
